Jack's watching me again. He does that a lot. He thinks I won't notice, or that if I do I'll put it down to his infamous mother hen instincts. He's notorious for fussing over me, his inept little 'Spacemonkey'. Always hugging, touching.
Caressing.
I pretend I haven't noticed, in case it's my imagination, wishful thinking. I do that a lot, pretend to bury myself in my work, in whatever artefact I'm painstakingly uncovering. Sometimes I do lose myself, become completely unaware of my surroundings. But not when he's watching me.
When he's watching me all I'm aware of is him.
